Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has today, December 6, presented items worth GH 150,000 cedis to farmers in Mpatuam of the Amansie West District as part of the 2019 farmer’s day celebration.
The award-winning musician presented the items to the District Chief Executive of the Amansie West District Assembly, Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu to add as prize package for all winning farmers in the district
In an official press release cited by zionfelix.net on the the facebook wall of his manager, Bulldog, they state that the Shatta Wale in handing over the items was full of praises for farmers across the world and suggested that Ghana as a country should be looking at industry farming in the near future.
“Farming is important because it provides food and jobs for the population. As a country, I think it is time we embrace industrial farming which provides a large amount of food at a relatively low cost and hugely contributes to the industrial development of the country. More jobs will be created for the youth and more people which will help solve the unemployment situation in the county” the statement stated.

The event we gather was held at the Big Park Hotel located at Mpatuam and was attended by Nana Asamoah Tia II, Chief of Mpatuam, Hon. Joseph Albert Quarm, Member of Parliament for the Manso Nkwanta Constituency, Mr. Dominic Oppong, Chief Executive Officer of Big Park Hotelm and many other deginiteries.
Shatta Wale is expected to honor a concert tonight as part of a grand opening of the Big Park Hotel.
