Shatta Wale and Sarkodie were the best of friends until the former’s wild pronouncements on Kumasi based Luv FM when he was hosted by DJ Reuben on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

In that famous interview, he claimed that Sarkodie and the Kwaw Kese at the time were very poor musicians who were just hating because he had all the bills.

Even though he continued to throw more shots at Sarkodie at the slightest opportunity he got, the Sarkcess Music boss was cunning through it all with subtle jabs occasionally.

The heaviest jab from Sarkodie to Shatta Wale, however, came in when he recorded the popular ‘Advice’ song for him.

While Sarkodie has not publicly made any fresh attacks on Shatta Wale again after the song became very popular, Shatta Wale, on the other hand, has been on the rampage.

Apparently, the ‘Advice’ song is one that hit his marrow, which is why he has been on Sarkodie’s case ever since.

In an interview monitored by zionfelix.net earlier today on Hitz FM, Shatta Wale told Andy Dosty that he did not understand why Sarkodie decided to record a diss song for him, the godfather of beef just because he described him as broke.

According to him, the word broke was not an insult and as such, the diss track from Sarkodie was not necessary.
