The president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Akuffo-Addo in his third State of the Nation Address revealed as part of the measure to make the country’s creative arts more viable, plans to fulfill a manifesto promise of constructing a new theater in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi. A revelation which has got, Flowking Stone, a rapper based in the region super excited.
In a tweet moments after the president’s SONA sighted by zionfelix.net on the handle of Flowking Stone, he jubilates that finally the calls on the government to fulfill their promise of building an ultra modern theater in Kumasi has finally received the much needed attention.
Even though he is super excited in the tweet, the ‘Blow My Mind’ hitmaker was very quick to caution the NPP government that they should ensure that the siting of the building is not taken for granted. He makes the point that failure on the party of the president Akuffo-Addo’s government to site the theater properly will make all their efforts in building one very useless.
