Radio presenter and M.C Kofi Okyere Darko aka KOD was attacked by several Ghanaian female celebrities following his comment that respected men in the society always want ladies who can keep a home but not ones who are always all over social media making noise.
This comment he made after congratulating John Dumelo angered public figures like Yvonne Okoro, Juliet Ibrahim, Gloria Osei Sarfo, Kafui Danku and many others who believe he goofed in his statement. Aside from these stars, many ladies also disagreed with KOD because they think it is an insult to ladies.
Following the attacks he received due to his Facebook post, KOD was not seen at the traditional wedding ceremony between the renowned actor and his girlfriend, Gifty Mawunya which happened on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Accra.
Many have questioned why he was absent on the big day of his bosom friend connecting it to the fact that he was afraid the female stars who shared a divergent opinion with him would ‘beat’ him should they come face to face.
The boss of “Nineteen 57” has explained why he was not present at the reunion and per what zionfelix.net heard, it had nothing to do with his post. According to him in a video, he had a shoot for his wife’s new collection for men which will be out in few days time.
