Celebrated movie producer and director Kofi Asamoah seems not perturbed about the public backlash on his recently released movie, John and John.
Kofas as he is fondly called despite reports that his third movie is a copy and paste of South African movie ‘Skeem’ is preparing to release a new TV series called, ‘Noko Fio’. The new show stars several top actors in the country. Not just actors, Kofi Asamoah added other entertainers who are not mostly seen on set shooting movies.
The new TV series, ‘Noko Fio’ features stars like Nana Ama McBrown, Kalybos, Benedicta Gafah, Yaw Dabo, Jackson Davies and Salma Mumin and Umar Krupp. Other known faces in the series include Ibrahim Ben Brako of Hitz FM and Multi TV fame, Desiree Crentsil and Akosua of Ghana’s Most Beautiful fame.
The new comedy series is said to be released in mid-July at a yet-to-be-announced television station.
‘Noko fio’ is a comedy drama that highlights the hustle of living in the capital. ‘Noko Fio is in Ga language, literally translates, ‘Something small’ – is a jargon that is brought to bare in a hilarious comedy series which unveils different classes of people trying to make ends meet at all cost.
