The President Akuffo-Addo led government has cut the sod for the construction of a new state-of-the-art Senior High and Technical School which will be named after former president H.E John Agyekum Kuffour in his hometown of Dabaa.
According to the official release zionfelix.net sighted on the facebook wall of the Director of Creative Arts Council, Socrate Sarfo, the school is expected to be completed in ten (10) months.
The sod-cutting ceremony for this new SHS took place after the president and the minster of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh cut the sod for the construction of Ghana’s first-ever Creative Arts Senior High School, which is to be located in Kwadaso, in the Ashanti region.
We also gather that the government intends to construct more of such Creative Arts Senior High Schools across the country, so that young people, who have the desire to be enrolled in such school but find themselves far away from this first one can gain access to this kind of specialized education.
