Praye Tietia of Praye fame has questioned the basis for which the opposition party, National Democratic Congress is claiming victory in the just-ended 2020 general elections.

According to the award-winning musician, a number of TV stations have all displayed provisional results showing the ruling New Patriotic Party in the lead.

So he quizzed how and why the opposition party would claim to be in the lead and go ahead to even ask their supporters to jubilate.

Praye Tietia took to his IG page to share photos of the said TV stations who had all displayed provisional results.

He wrote: “These are provisional results from 4 different independent reputable TV stations and all have placed nana addo in a comfortable lead. Does it mean all these tv stations are working in favour of npp or have been bribed by npp to tabulate the results in their favour?. GTV, JOY NEWS/ADOM TV, CITI TV, UTV #4More4Nana2DoMore“.

Praye Tietia quizzed how the government would want to spend so much in ‘bribing’ TV stations to put out what he believed to be a true reflection of the votes cast.

His comments come on the back of a press conference organized by the NDC where they claimed the media was being used by the government to churn fake results and fake news.
