The ‘Abena’ crooner took to his social media platforms to send a stern warning to media personality Doreen Avio, who works with Multimedia Group.
Apparently, something happened backstage and even before Frank Naro mounted the stage at the Taabea Bitters sponsored event, which took place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Royal Regency in London.
Even though the issue that transpired is currently unknown, Frank Naro appears to be very disgusted about how Doreen Avio treated him that night.
The musician warned Doreen not to repeat such disrespectful behavior towards him again because, at the time he was making a name for himself in the industry about two decades ago, the occasional host of Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show was nowhere to be found.
In a post directed at Doreen Avio, he wrote, “I have given you respect as my dear sister @doreen_avio. What happened at the backstage and on stage at the @ghanamusicawardsuk wasn’t good at all. I came to this industry when you were nowhere to be found. Please respect yourself and don’t ever try that again. This is your first and last warning.”
The cryptic message left fans and industry insiders wondering what transpired between Frank Naro and Doreen Avio during the awards ceremony.
Whatever the case may be, Frank Naro‘s decision to address the issue on social media rather than privately speaks volumes about the seriousness of the matter. It indicates that he believes there is a pressing need to address the incident and set the record straight.
