Popular music expert, Fred Kyei Mensah, has finally opened up about why he lost control and shed tears after he was gifted a Kia Soul car by Diamond Appiah.
According to him, after he lost his livelihood to the June 3, 2015 Accra floods, he had received countless promises of help but many of them are yet to be fulfilled.

While recounting his woes, he revealed that he did not have a car and had to be hitching rides with friends when he goes for events.
In one such memorable experience, Fred Kyei Mensah narrated that in 2019, he attended a fashion show organized by KOD at the Osu Castle Gardens dubbed “Fashion on the Runway”.
He said after the show was over, he found it difficult to get a car back home and it was very late.

According to him, it wa Counselor Lutterodt who gave him a lift to Circle and also gave him some money for transport back home.
Fred Kyei Mensah revealed that Diamond Appiah’s car gift came in a timely fashion and would ensure that he is able to attend events and go back home safely regardless of the time the programme closes.
He added that the car gift should not deter others from doing good to him and just like Oliver Twist, he was asking for more.
He went on to quote a bible verse and calle don all those who made promises to him that he was still waiting patiently for them.
