After weeks of anticipation, the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards finally happened on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.

On the night, some artists went home as happy folks because they picked awards they had high anticipation for, while others left home disappointed because they could not pick any of the awards they had high hopes for.

Out of the many awards that were won on the night, the most prestigious one, which is the Artist of the Year category was fiercely contested between Stonebwoy and King Promise.

Ahead of the awards, Ghanaian socialite, Efia Odo was one of the few celebrities who publicly declared their support for the “Terminator” hitmaker, King Promise.

She was very vocal on social media and went to the extent of using certain unpalatable words on Stonebwoy who eventually bagged the bragging rights.

Well, even though King Promise missed out on winning the Artist of the Year award at the just ended, Telecel Ghana Music Awards, Efia Odo appears to be still leaving in her own dream world.

She still believes that King Promise is the only Artist of the Year and that the announcement done by the organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards is fake.

In a post seen on her X page, she wrote: “Artist of the Year fuck what you heard.”
