Outspoken actor Nana Tonardo has revealed that some of his colleagues in the Ghanaian showbiz industry are homosexuals.
The Afia Schwarzenegger actor made the shocking statement public after denying on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show that he is not gay. According to him, it is an open secret that some celebrities whose works we have enjoyed for the past years in the country are not straight as their fans think.
Tonardo who could not mention any name on the Angel TV program said without mincing words that some of his friends in the creative arts industry are homosexuals and aside from them, he has also heard names of some stars who have been accused of engaging in the act. The father of one continued that he has had people complain to him about gay celebrities proposing to them and that surprised him.
“But Zion, do you know the number of people who are serious gays in the country? Most of the entertainers are gays. Even if you don’t know some, I’m sure you have heard about it. I’ve friends and I know people. People come to me and tell me about people who call to propose to them.” he told Zionfelix on the Celebrity Ride show.
On whether the gay tag on him has affected his brand or not, Emile Wood as he is known privately answered positive and added that he believes that is the reason he has not had any endorsement deal since he joined the showbiz industry six years back.
“These are some of rumours in town that I personally think have not made me get any endorsment deal. Most people think I’m gay because in Ghana, if you don’t go the way most people go and want you to do, they see you to be an outcast.
