Ghanaian Reality TV show, GH Queens, has received its first nomination at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMCVA) slated for May 11 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The season 2 of the show is contending against The Real Housewives of Lagos, Nightlife in Lasgidi, and LOL Naija in the Best Unscripted Series category of the AMVCAs.
The show follows the daily lives of Efia Odo, Mona 4 Real, Michy Diamond, and Cookie as they navigate fame in the bustling world of Ghanaian showbiz and captured the eyes and hearts of reality show lovers in Ghana and beyond through its raw unfiltered storytelling.
“Being nominated for an AMCVA is a dream come true for the entire GH Queens team,” Ayebea ‘BZ’ Darko, creator of the show, said. “We poured our hearts and souls into this project, and it’s incredible to see our hard work recognized in this way.”
The winner in the Best Unscripted Series category will be decided by a jury headed by renowned Nigerian filmmaker, Femi Odugbemi – alongside public votes.
Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is an award show presented by MultiChoice recognizing outstanding performances in television, film, entertainment, and digital content creation throughout Nollywood and the entire African continent.
