Award-winning Ghanaian Hiplife and Highlife musician, Okyeame Kwame has revealed that the biggest challenge they face as artists in the entertainment industry is how to sustain their status high up on the pedestal once they get there. According to OK, even though it is difficult to do, it is quite easy once an artist has a very good management team.
The ‘Bra’ singer revealed that many of the artists who have fallen off the road at one point in time did so because they failed to put together a proper management team. He added that currently, the dynamics in the music industry is not the same as the years gone by when one person could be the whole management team of an artist.
Okyeame Kwame told B Ice on his entertainment show on Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM that currently, he has a road manager who caters solely for his travels and ensures that he gets to all his destinations and shows on time. Also, there is a brands manager who ensures that he (Kwame Nsiah-Apau aka Okyeame Kwame) remains relevant and appealing to his fans all the time.
