Ghanaian highlife musician, Dada Hafco has jumped into the defence of Madam Theresa Ayoade, the CEO of Charterhouse over her recent comment about Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Madam Ayoade urged the media to lift the industry beyond Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, a statement which has infuriated these musicians.
But speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM which was monitored by zionfelix.net, Dada Hafco said there is nothing wrong with the statement made by the CEO of Charterhouse, the organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
He described her comment as harmless which shouldn’t cause any agitation.
Dada Hafco stated that since the award scheme involves a lot of artistes in the country, Madam Ayoade wants the media to put their spotlight on other artistes as well.
“The woman was responding to the media, she was trying to say that, my award scheme covers over thousands of musicians, why do you people always come to me and ask about only two people? I want us to spread it across,” Dada Hafco explained.
He asserted that Charterhouse deserves commendation for what they have done over the years.
Stonebwoy expressed how disappointed he was following the statement made by Madam Theresa Ayoade.
