Radio presenter and gospel musician Kwame OB Nartey has taken a swipe at award-winning gospel singer Dr Sonnie Badu for congratulating Kuami Eugene for winning 2020 VGMAs Artiste of the Year.
In a Facebook post sighted by Zionfelix.net, OB Nartey indicated the the Baba singer had become noted for “unneccesary fame attachements”.

He went on to indicate that he had a problem with Sonnie Badu calling Kuami Eugene his “son” when there were other people in gospel ministry who the Wonder God crooner had to help lift up.
Kwame OB Nartey indicated that SOnnie Badu had neglected some talented gospel singers who had been loyal to him and charged the pastor to fulfil his promises to them.
“The boys who served you are still waiting for you to give them the necessary push and features you promised them.The likes of Max Praise, Yohan, Tino Manford, Royal Chris, Kofi Perprah. You left the Gospel personalities who made us proud to go and claim fathership,” OB Nartey wrote.

Nartey added that the fame the gospel singer was trying so hard to chase was “laughable” and that there were many upcoming stars in the gospel industry who could do with his push.
Kuami Eugene made himself proud by being adjudged the best of the best after he was crowned Artiste Of The Year at the 21st Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Following his win, many paludits have come his way with celebs and the general public alike congratulating for chalking an enviable feat.
