Outspoken Ghanaian marriage counsellor, Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt has defended people who have more than one spouse at a time.
Deliberating on the issue of polygamy in an interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, Counselor Lutterodt said God doesn’t frown on the polygamous lifestyle of people.
He explained that polygamy is a way of life and the best thing that has happened to the generation that God created.
The controversial counsellor indicated that mankind’s illicit, greed and selfish mentality which lead to one-man-one-wife has created a challenge.
He believes polygamy brings sanity in society and also shows the Godly nature of the man that God created in His image and likeness.
He suggested polygamy as one of the avenues to alleviate poverty from the Ghanaian society—if rich folks are allowed to marry as many they can.
Counsellor Lutterodt, who claims to be a theologian for 28 years, added that there is no scripture from Genesis to Revelation which shows that God is against polygamy.
