Fans of Celestine Donkor were astounded as she asked the crowd if she should kiss her husband Kofi Donkor who also doubles as her manager on stage after the 12 years married couple renewed their wedding vows officiated by Bishop Yaw Owusu Ansah of Adom FM.
This followed an electrifying and spirit filled performance by Celestine Donkor as she performed her new singles entitled “ADANSIDIE”, “OKAMAFO JESUS”, and “WA HYIRA MI”.
The event commenced with an amazing performance by Cpraiz Choir and band.
Three uprising gospel sensations Bella, Michael Peters and Sara Naa Dede also wow the crowd after performing ” I Need You”, “Eze” and “Majabo” respectively.
Fans of Celestine Donkor were astonished to see popular Ghanaian gospel musicians Eugene Zutah, OJ and Ceccy Twum perform on stage as they elevated the crowd’s expectation to the highest level.
The climax of the event was when Celestine ministered her new single recorded last year entitled Kweter, which features Mkhululi Bhebhe of Joyous Celebrations fame.
Patrons were privileged to see Mkhululi Bhebhe and Celestine Donkor minister together for the first time.
Mkhululi Bhebhe delivered a fantastic performance, which brought patrons to their feet throughout his entire performance.
Nigerian celebrated gospel act Steve Crown finally crowned the night with soul-inspiring songs of praise, which made patrons, kneel and lay on the floor through out his ministration to praise God.
Even though it was a rainy day, the sixth edition of the annual anticipated ‘Celestial Praiz’ had a packed crowd at the Perez Dome in Accra and was graced by Ohemaa Mercy, SP Kofi Sarpong, Abena Ruthy and a host of popular Ghanaian gospel acts.
The event saw the presence of highly respected men of God such as Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, Rev. Samuel Antwi head pastor for ICGC Destiny Temple branch ,Rev.Clement Anchebah of Fountain Gate Chapel and Rev. Wale Akintonde of Redeemed Christian Church.
The sixth edition of Celestial Praiz brought together the most exciting and chart-topping hit makers of the year on one stage.
The anticipated concert drew Christians from all walks of life, from different denominations and gave them the opportunity to enjoy a night of anointed musical praise, worship and thanksgiving through song ministrations.
Celestine Donkor will soon release a song she is currently recording with Nigerian celebrated gospel musician Steve Crown.
