Ghanaian female gospel musician Patience Nyarko has broken her virginity, we don’t mean her sex life but when it comes to collaborating with her fellow musicians.
The songstress on Monday confessed to Zionfelix on Radio Univers in Accra that she has never featured an artiste on any of her three previous albums so she wanted to do something different with her new single, Obi Nyanime. According to her, Bro. Sammy was the right person his team wanted to be on the song hence the decision to collaborate with the Kumasi-based artiste.
“I’ve my first, second and third albums out but I’ve not featured any artiste on it so I decided to work with someone on this tune. If you a good writer, you would hurriedly know the right person for a song you’ve written so Sammy just came into mind after this song was written”
On how she had the message for the song, Patience Nyarko disclosed that “it is a prophecy God wants to give to His children. I was ironing and it just came.”
‘Obi Nyanime’ is a danceable tune that talks about how God surprises us with His mercy, blessings and goodness; sometimes when we least expect it. The song can be enjoyed by all at any given time, especially when used during Praises hour in churches.
The minstrel recently released her six track album, Atigya, Zionfelix.net gathers.
