Celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has admonished the public to stop treating gospel musicians as non-humans.
It is no news that actions of some gospel musicians raise lots of issues with some people in the society even accusing them of tainting Christianity.
Speaking to Zionfelix at the launch of this year’s Tehilla experience, Ohemaa, real name Mrs. Mercy Twum Ampofo asked Ghanaians to understand that gospel musicians are humans and have human tendencies to be at fault.
She said, “Don’t be shocked if you see any gospel musician in an unholy way because they are human and are liable to error. The only thing that can set one apart is the holy spirit and the fear of God.”
This year’s Tehilla experience promises to be nothing short of what it is known for. Patrons are assured of an amazing and fulfilling time in the presence of God.
