The family of the late actress Mercy Little Smith today, Saturday, December 28, 2024, held the one-week observation rites for their beloved at 7 Black Lagoon Street, GA 559 7234.

The solemn event, attended by family, friends, and admirers, was marked by fond memories of her impactful career and tributes of her personality.

During the program, the MC revealed that Ghana’s President-elect, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, made a significant contribution to the family.

According to the gentleman, H.E. Jo hihn Mahama donated GHS 5,000, along with several assorted drinks and water, to support the family during this difficult time.

Earlier, Kwame Djokoto aka Judge Coboo, one of the late actress’s closest companions from the Efiewura TV show, also disclosed in an interview that John Dramani Mahama had been a strong financial pillar for Mercy Little Smith during her illness.

Mercy Little Smith, affectionately called “Benyiwaa,” tragically passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 43. Her passing was announced the following day through the official Efiewura TV series Facebook page, leaving fans and colleagues heartbroken.
