“He can’t help himself so I lock him up and go to the market … I sometimes get scared … but if I don’t do that we will not eat”.
That is the ordeal of Emmanuel Tekpe,
a 9-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy and one of the beneficiaries of a medical outreach organised by the Sampson Amoateng Foundation with support from Morgan’s Miracles. Emmanuel will receive orthopedic care, as others get eye surgery and prosthetic legs.
The medical outreach which provided relief for over 200 people from the community of Nkurankan in the Eastern Region of Ghana, forms part of the 2021
edition of the annual December To Remember conference. Participates went home with medications as needed, clothes, bags, shoes and uncooked food.
The conference held at the House of Miracle Ministries Worldwide, is under the theme “fruitfulness”.
As part of activities, some aged church members had early Christmas cheers. The Prophet Sampson Amoateng surprised them at home with hampers and cash in hand.
Persons with disability, the homeless, old and needy numbering about 300, around the church’s catchment area in the La-Nkwantanang Madina and Adentan municipalities, also benefited from the pre-christmas outreach. They were given Hot meals and uncooked food.
This activity was in collaboration with the Member of Parliament of Madina,
Francis-Xavier Kojo Sosu.
Speakers at this year’s conference which is from November 29 to December 5, 2021, are Prophet Sampson Amoateng, Dr. Mark Amoateng, Prophet Daniel Amoateng and Bishop Victor Powell.
