Ghanaian Highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has distanced himself from politics.
While the 2024 elections in the country come to a close, the ‘Tokro’ singer has said he is no longer supporting any political party.
He made this declaration in an interview on TV3’s New Day.
“I am completely out of politics. I am Ghanaian,” Kwabena Kwabena said when the host Cookie Tee asked whether he would campaign for the NPP in this year’s election.

His new position comes after he publicly campaigned for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2016.
“I just have one word for all of us. Come December 7 2016, we are going to vote for change. This year, we are changing things,” Kwabena Kwabena said when he mounted the NPP campaign platform on October 9, 2016.
It appears a lot of Ghanaian celebrities who campaigned for NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo are not okay with how Ghana was managed in the past years.
