Sonnie Badu’s revelation about Dr Kwaku Oteng failing to honour his promise of sponsoring his recent event has set off many reactions on social media.
Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady, thinks he did the wrong thing by calling out the founder of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).
She argued that what Sonnie did would affect him in the future.
But in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, popular comedian, OB Amponsah, stated that despite the approach used by the renowned Gospel musician, companies will sponsor him.
He added that Sonnie Badu is hurting, so he should be left to grieve.
OB further questioned why Afia Pokuaa was not talking about Sonnie crying about his loss following the event.
He commented on Afia’s post on Facebook: “Let a man grieve whatever way makes him comfortable. This man is all over crying about how much he lost putting up his event. Why have you not talked about that one too?
He’s crying about his present but you are worried about future relationships that seem not to exist in the beginning. I believe other companies will sponsor him regardless of this approach. He’s hurting, let him grieve.”
