Following reports that an Accra High Court has awarded Yvonne Nelson GH500,000 in a defamation case against Mona Gucci for malicious statements she made about the award-winning actress on Accra-based Neat FM, the latter has come out to state that she had no idea that was any court hearing on the case.
Speaking in an interview on the Tuesday edition of Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review’, Mona Gucci said that she was taken by surprise when she saw articles suggesting that she failed to appear in court despite being summoned.

According to her, those claims actually lack any merit and as such, she has asked her lawyers to find out how this mess was caused before she will finally react to all these reports suggesting that she has to pay an amount of GH500,000 to Yvonne Nelson.
