Renowned Nigerian actress Damilola Adegbite has recently opened up about the intricacies of her divorce from Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh.
The couple, who had a son together in 2014, had initially met while collaborating on the soap drama “Tinsel” and got engaged in Ghana in 2015.
However, their relationship sadly came to an end in September 2017.
During an interview with prominent media personality Chude Jideonwo in Nigeria, Damilola Adegbite candidly revealed that their marriage hit the rocks after they both came to the realization that “love is not enough.”
She explained that, “Love is not enough. When you meet somebody and you want to spend your life with them, love is just one of the qualities that you need. But it is not everything.”
According to her, she has never regretted divorcing her ex-husband, adding that the only regard she has for Chris Attoh is that he is the father of her son.
