Ghanaian rapper, Medikal, has opened up about the challenges he faced following his arrest in 2021 for brandishing a firearm on social media.
Speaking during an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, the award-winning artist recounted the incident and its aftermath, describing it as a harrowing experience.
“I felt inhumane, it wasn’t right,” Medikal shared while reflecting on his treatment during the ordeal.
As we all know, the rapper’s arrest made headlines at the time ansd sparked widespread discussions about gun ownership and social media use in Ghana.
In the coure of the interview, Medikal also revealed that his arrest had far-reaching consequences, particularly when it came to his ability to travel.
He explained that he had to go through a strenuous process to clear his name with various embassies due to the criminal record associated with the incident.
“My last experience with the police was not a very friendly one. I had to clear my name from embassies before I could travel,”
