Kumawood actress, Harriet Takyi has disclosed how her first marriage at the age of 19 hit the rocks.
She told Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’ that her husband was a good man but his family contributed to the collapse of their marriage.
The 30-year-old actress said she had two kids with her ex-husband, one of them aged 10.
According to the actress, it was part of her plans to marry early and finish giving birth by the age of 25.
Harriet, who preferred to get pregnant before marriage indicated how her mother supported her because she had no option.
She stated that she is now dating a very noble and responsible man—and she has not regretted divorcing her husband.
Harriet Takyi claimed she has learnt a lot after her first marriage failed and she won’t rush to marry again.
She advised women to ask themselves so many questions before they decide to marry.
Harriet played a role in Tracey Boakye’s 14th self-produced movie ‘Baby Mama’ which is set to be premiered at the Watch and Dine Cinema in Kumasi on 20th July 2019, at the National Theatre, Accra on the 25th of July, 2019 and at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani on the 3rd of August, 2019.
The movie starred Kalybos, Lil Win Kwaku Manu, Rosemond Brown, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Bill Asamoah, Christiana Awuni, Bernice Asare Xandy Kamel and others.
