Social media sensation, Abena Korkor has waded into the controversy surrounding the activities of people who are LGBTQIA+ in Ghana.

Abena Korkor decided to join the likes of Sister Derby, Wanluv, Pappy Kojo, and many others to fight against the maligning of the LGBT community in Ghana.

On her Instagram page a while ago, Abena Korkor initially shared a petition calling for the Ghanaian Parliament to reject the homophobic anti-LGBT bill introduced by Sam George and some seven other MPs.

The bill from the MPs seeks to criminalise LGBT activities in Ghana and deal with anyone who says a positive word about the LGBT or supports them.

In her second post, Abena Korkor shared a music video by Angel Maxin which features Sister Derby and Wanlov the Kubolor to throw her full support against the criminalization of LGBT activities in Ghana and suggested that she could be one of such people.

She captioned that one: “I know a lot of people personally who are born this way. You never know I might be one. There are amazing people who deserve every right to live in peace so they can contribute productively to society. #lgbtqlivesmatter,”
