Fast-rising Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Shay has disclosed one of the difficult moments that she passed through before rising to fame.
The Rufftown Records artiste said she used to buy a phone on credit.
According to her, life has not been easy but she is grateful that things changed for the better.
Wendy said in an interview monitored by Zionfelix.net that living outside the shores of Ghana doesn’t mean automatic success.
She stressed that one has to hustle hard to make ends meet when travelled outside the country.
“I have to work hard to take care of our family. In total, we were five people living together without a father…and I have to work hard to support my mother,” she stated.
Wendy Shay added, “Even though I was working as a nurse, I used to buy a phone on credit…because I won’t get money to buy what I want.”
