Veteran Ghanaian music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah aka Fredima has publicly declared his support for the New Patriotic Party as Ghanaians prepare for the impending 2020 general elections on December 7.
In a post sighted by zionfelix.net on Facebook, Fredima made known his readiness to vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The music producer, who has followed politics since childhood advised against politics of insults.
He revealed that his love for politics began after his late father Nana Adu Asabere Kyei Mensah, took him to a Progress Party rally in his hometown, Agogo Asante Akyem in 1969.
Fredima wrote: “My name is Fred Kyei Mensah. I am an independent thinker. I like politics devoid of insults. I have followed politics since childhood when my late father, Nana Adu Asabere Kyei Mensah, a staunch member of the Busia Danquah tradition and a founding member of the NPP took me to a Progress Party rally in my hometown, Agogo Asante Akyem in 1969. Exactly a year today, 7th December God willing, I will go to the polls and vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP party. Who will join me? This post is a block induced post. Lol.”
