Ghanaian actress and television presenter, Gloria Osei Sarfo has expressed her disappointment following the Black Stars’ elimination from the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

Speaking with ZionFelix on the ‘Uncut Show’ after Ghana’s encounter with Tunisia, the outspoken actress said it is worrying when things happen like that because Ghanaians put all their hearts in it.

She said the players fought really well but it is very sad that victory didn’t come our way.

Gloria stressed that the first goal scored by Andre Ayew which was disallowed by the referee caused the Ghanaian team this defeat.

She also expressed her disappointment in Coach Kwesi Appiah for sidelining Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah.

She believes Gyan having enough playing time and the inclusion of Kwadwo Asamoah would have done magic for the Ghanaian Senior National Team.

Tunisia defeated the Black Stars of Ghana by 5 goals to 4 through penalty shoot outs in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ghanaians were hopeful of the Black Stars’ qualification to next stage of the competition but in the end, disappointment was the outcome.
