Ghanaian social media sensation, Efia Odo, has hit back at her critics who have ridiculed her decision to venture into music.
Sista Afia along with many Ghanaians have been dropping amusing comments about Efia Odo’s first song dubbed ‘Getting The Bag’.

As suggested by these attackers, Efia Odo should channel her resources into other fruitful things because it’s clear she wasn’t created to do music because she’s a poor singer.
She claimed that everything she does is motivated by passion rather than a desire to please others, so she would not be concerned about whether or not people are listening to her music.
Reacting to these harsh comments, Efia Odo has revealed that she’s not worried about the cold comments people make about her songs.
She explained that she does music out of passion and not for money like most musicians.
She said;
“Well, I won’t worry about that. I do it with passion, so even if Ghanaians or some Ghanaians don’t think of me as a musician, there are still going to be other people who will.“
“I keep repeating that it is not through force. Several musicians in this nation have been recording music for over five years, yet they have yet to get 2000 YouTube views”
The Ghanaian actress went on to say that she thinks that in order to succeed in the entertainment world, one must work hard, be patient, and be dedicated.
She used the YouTube influencer Kwadwo Sheldon as an example of how one must start small and work their way up to become successful.
She said;
“Look at Kwadwo Sheldon, who currently has a significant amount of views on YouTube; he just started using it how many years ago? It all comes down to buildup, patience, and dedication”
