Actress Yvonne Nelson has dropped a quick clap back for Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie following the latter’s decision to drop a diss song for her.

Sarkodie released a new song titled ‘Try Me’ on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, to react to Yvonne Nelson’s revelation that he got her pregnant and caused her to have an abortion in 2010 in her memoir ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’.

In the song Sarkodie released, he sort to make some clarification and set the records straight.

Key among them included the fact that he did not ask Yvonne Nelson to abort the baby and that it was her sole decision.

Also, he asked her to keep the baby but she chose her education above the baby.

Sarkodie also said that he asked his doctor to examine her but she refused the offer rather she opted for an abortion doctor prescribed by her friend.

The ‘Country Side’ hitmaker finally disclosed that Yvonne recently tried to get them to talk about the episode at a private space while he wanted the meeting to be a public place but the latter did not like these terms.

Amid reactions to the song, the YN Production boss has also taken to her Twitter page to tell Sark that the insults he hurled at her in the song won’t work this time.

She added that the award-winning rapper should learn to respect women because what he did in the song was wrong.
