The International Human Rights Observer (IHRO) of the United Nations have made calls on a number of concerned bodies to deal with Counselor George Lutterodt over his recent comments on rape.
The letter signed by the Executive Secretary to the Country Director, Dr. Steven Blessing Ackah on behalf of the Country Director, Archcardinal Professor Eric Ofori-Atta, stated that the IHRO had received several complaints about Counselor Lutterodt.

According to the international outfit, they were joing hands with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to call on media houses to ban Lutterodt from radio and TV.
IHRO of UN also called on the African Court on Human and People’s Right in the Hague to take drastic actions against Counselor Lutterodt .
The press release further called on the Ghana Media Commission and the Ghana Psychology Council to also with immediate effect, call the outspoken counselor to order.

Adding to the letter, the IHRO of UN implored Counselor George Lutterodt to immediately render an unqualified apology for his unsavory comments and also called for the said video to be taken down from all media platforms.
It would be recalled that Counselor Lutterodt, while speaking in an interview on Adom TV, indicated that rape victims enjoy the act at a point.
His comment attracted massive backlash from the general public which included notable people including Nana Aba Anamoah, Leila Djansi, Gifty Anti, Efia Odo and Rasheeda Adams.
Counselor Lutterodt, however in an interview with Peace FM yesterday indicated that his comments had been misunderstood and apologized if he hurt anyone with the said comments
