Stonebwoy has disclosed how disrespectful it would be for him to return this year’s VGMA plaques to the organizers following the fracas between him and Shatta Wale at the event.
He told Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty in an interview monitored by zionfelix.net that, there is no way he will return the plaques.
Stonebwoy holds the conviction that he worked hard for it.
“It will be a double disappointment to carry the awards to charterhouse because I didn’t steal the awards. My fans paid for it. They voted and I also voted. I promoted the event and was ready to perform too,” he quipped.
The musician said he was disappointed big time when the night of the award show because security measures were not up to par and his life, was even threatened.
According to him, there were so many disappointments but he declined to give much detail on exactly what his disappointments are.
Stonebwoy charged the organizers not to put a blind eye to security because someone could have died on the night.
He stressed that it is not proper for some few people to be penalized without looking at the bigger picture and do the right things.
The ‘Top Skanka’ composer revealed that he is ready to part of the scheme when the ban placed on him is lifted because the VGMAs is for all musicians in the country.
