On October 15, 2019, it was reported that award-winning gospel musician Jack Alolomi was involved in a gory accident but for the grace of God he could have died.

Mr. Alolome detailing how he ended up climbing a pavement with his Mazda 6 car and somersaulting at the time, said it all happened when a Toyota Corolla taxi driver who was ahead of him made a quick U-turn.

He further explained that it was in his attempt to prevent his car from smashing the said Corolla that he drifted off the road into a nearby bush.

After three months of the unfortunate event, Jack Alolomi is set to host a special thanksgiving service on January 5, 2020.

The service is expected to come off at the church of Pentecost located in Bantama, Kumasi.

Other gospel music greats like Elder Miraku, Uncle Ato, Obaapa Christy and many others will be in attendance.
