Ghanaian actor, Richard Kwaku Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, has made a U-turn after he said he was not impressed when he listened to Beyoncé’s ‘Already’ song which featured Shatta Wale.
In a new post sighted by Zionfelix.net on Instagram, the actor sung the praises of Shatta Wale.
He stated that Shatta Wale deserves the Beyoncé collaboration more than any Ghanaian artiste.
Kalybos wrote: “I will never wish for any other Ghanaian Artist on this collaboration apart from you. You deserve this. Haters go shame 🔊 Paah Paah Paah.”
In earlier assertion, the comic actor stressed that Shatta Wale was tamed and we are promoting Shatta Wale more than the song.
“The hype is that Shatta Wale has done a song with Beyoncé and it has not happened before. Listen to what Beyonce did with Wizkid, Mr Eazi and Tiwa Savage and tell me which one is nice. I am afraid the Nigerians will mock Ghanaians about this. Shatta as Shatta we know did improve on this one for me. He could have done better,” he said on Hello FM last Saturday as reported by Zionfelix.net.
Following the release of ‘Already’ which featured American singer Beyoncé and Ghana’s Shatta Wale, diverse opinions have been expressed.
