Ghanaian artiste King Paluta has expressed shock after an X (formerly Twitter) influencer withdrew his support for his Artiste of the Year bid.
In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the ‘Makoma’ hitmaker revealed that the influencer had been actively rooting for him to win the award.
However, he was surprised to see the same person claim just yesterday that he no longer deserved it.

Paluta questioned whether Twitter influencers were being paid by other artistes, writing:
“I’ve seen one guy who was supporting me heavily. Even last week… Every time, ‘Paluta for AOTY.’
Yesterday, I checked, and he said I don’t deserve the award anymore 😂. Every Twitter influencer on the payroll already?? Lol. Ghana music, wake up! (in Wendy Shay’s voice).”
Since the announcement of nominees for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), debates have been ongoing about who truly deserves the Artiste of the Year title.
