No one sings better for the ladies than Kwabena Kwabena. The king of soul-stirring tunes returns with another well-written lyric in his latest delivery called Tokro.
Tokro is a Twi (local dialect) word which translates into English as Hole, in the song, Kwabena Kwabena opens his lyrics with ‘There’s nothing like our love. This is true love, let’s stare into each other’s eyes, push me further for I’m in love. Baby suck my body’. These words paved the way for more sensual ones and the best part of all is, he managed to carefully use proverbs that are not easy to decode unless you pay critical attention.
The accompanying visuals for Tokro were shot and directed by famed internationally acclaimed Ghanaian music videos and filmmaker, Gyo Gyimah, founder of Phamous Film. Kwabena Kwabena played the lead role surrounded by an uncountable number eye-popping ladies, he is stuck in the middle in one scene singing to them while they admire his sexy-six-packs-body. As an attempt not to take the visually pleasing side away, the shirtless Kwabena Kwabena appeared in all the sequent scenes either dancing with ladies or singing to them.
