The Member of Parliament for Tema Central Constituency, Hon. Kofi Brako has made a donation to the aged following the partial lockdown in some parts of the country.
He donated rice, oil, hand sanitizers and bulbs to the aged in the constituency.
Hon. Kofi Brako told Zion Felix in an interview on the ‘Uncut Show’ that about 1,500 people benefited from this project.
The legislator revealed that caring for the aged and the vulnerable remains a top priority for him. He also disclosed dining and providing cloths to the aged on every 1st October in his constituency.
He told the interviewer that the youth in the constituency have not been left out—as a different date was set aside for some of the items to be distributed among the youth in the constituency.
The Tema Central MP said he was impressed about how his constituents have obeyed the President’s partial lockdown directives implemented to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
Hon. Kofi Brako was accompanied by the winner of Miss Malaika 2019, Phylis Vesta Boison.
Phylis used the opportunity to advise Ghanaians to adhere to the precautionary measures announced by health officials.
