Ghanaian rapper Lyrical Joe’s craft has gained international attention.

Lyrics from one of the rapper’s songs became a literary piece for analysis in a UK university lecture.

The rapper shared pictures of students in the Edge Hill University in England with his lyrics projected in front of the class.

A Ghanaian lecturer in the university who used Lyrical Joe’s lyrics to teach his class said his students like it when he uses “words beautifully knitted together”.

In another tweet, the lecturer wrote that he “can’t ignore the opportunity to promote the beautiful writing of fellow Ghanaians”, being a Ghanaian himself.

He added that Lyrical Joe has impressed him than any other Ghanaian rapper, hence his class will focus on him in the few weeks ahead.

According to Wikipedia, Edge Hill University is a campus-based public university in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England, which opened in 1885 as Edge Hill College, the first non-denominational teacher training college for women in England, before admitting its first male students in 1959.
