Ghanaian journalist and media personality Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii is facing one of the toughest battles of his life following a tragic incident at the Dormaa Kwafie Festival, where he was shot in the face.
Even though it was supposed to be a day of celebration, it ended rather sadly for the award-winning journalist who has currently be left with a severe eye damage that requires multiple surgeries to save his vision.

Not long ago, reports emerged that Ghanaian businessman ans philanthropist, Ibrahim Mahama through his foundation had pledged to pay for all the medical bills, there appears to be a new development.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by popular vlogger and close friend of Kofi Adomah, Oppong Kofi who is well known as Magreheb.
This according to him is to to raise funds for the medical expenses.
The fundraiser is beginning to gain traction, as well-wishers are donating to support his treatment.
The GoFundMe campaign is titled “Support for Kofi Adomah’s Eye Surgery” and as of February 15, 2025, the campaign has raised €1,907 from 39 donations.
While this is on going, the media fraternity, fans, and sympathizers are also calling for justice.
