It has been widely reported that Shatta Wale took a whopping GHC400,000 to perform during the football match between Legon Cities FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Friday, January 3.
These reports are however factually incorrect according to the media officer of the rebranded team.
In a Facebook interaction with one follower of his sighted by zionfelix.net, Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang reveals that as a team, they don’t know anything about the 400K figure being bandied around.
He added that when anyone compares the amount they actually paid Shatta Wale to what is in the media space, one will conclude that the 400K figure is a complete exaggeration.

“I don’t know where u got your figures from but it is no where near whats making rounds out there….totally exaggerated” he wrote.
Kwame, however, failed to disclose the exact amount they gave Shatta Wale, which is likely because of the non-disclosure clause in the contract.
