According to Shatta Wale, he decided to be the ‘Jesus Christ’ of the Ghanaian music industry and offer himself to be k!lled so the new croo of musicians will benefit.

He added that while he currently has many enemies in the Nigerian music space and cannot even go there for shows, the new crop of artirts like Medikal, Gyakie, Black Sherif, Camidoh and the likes are getting a lot of airplay on their radio and TV stations.

In Shatta Wale’s own words, he said: “…When I am beefing with Nigerians, I am doing it because of the next generation. Now everybody is getting the opportunity. Everybody is going to Nigeria because that awareness is there… I have done things that even if I can’t go to Nigeria I want to see the Black Sheriffs, the Medikals entering there now. This is because we now see Nigeria as our America. So we must get the Nigerians’ attention that is why I have sacrificed my life for the industry,” he said on Thursday.
