Renowned Ghanaian music producer, Wei Ye Oteng, has called out award-winning producer, MOG Beatz, for allegedly stealing the beat he used for Sarkodie’s recently released diss song for Yvonne Nelson titled ‘Try Me’.
The reports about the beat being stolen emerged on social media after netizens went to dig up the song of Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar titled ‘Family Ties’, which somehow has a very similar beat.
Against these allegations, Wei Ye Oteng took to his Facebook wall to refer to MOG Beatz as a lazy producer, who goes about stealing and claiming the beat of others to supposedly cook beefs.
He further added that MOG Beatz did not just steal a beat but rather, he literally stole a whole kitchen to help Sarkodie’s agenda against Yvonne Nelson.

He disclosed that he was disappointed in Wei Ye Oteng because he has always seen him as a senior in the industry.
The award-winning music producer added that the attitude of the senior producer is the reason why the Ghanaian music industry is where it is today.
