In the last few hours, social media have gone raft with reactions after it emerged that Sarkodie’s diss song released for actress Yvonne Nelson titled ‘Try Me’.

The song, which was released on June 28, 2023, got a lot of reactions, both positively and negatively.

While some netizens felt that the award-winning musician had a course to come out to speak his truth following Yvonne’s claims that he impregnated her and got her to abort it, others accused the rapper of ‘slut shaming’ the actress and disrespecting womanhood.

Just when the discussions were dying down, the revelation that the song had been removed from Apple Music and Spotify because of the lyrics that supposedly attacks the person of the YN Production boss.

Some netizens who were on the side of Yvonne Nelson during the social media drama jubilated about it in their comments on social media.

Well, it appears that the song was never taken down because of the lyrics or the allegation that the beat was stolen, however, in a reaction to the brouhaha, MOG Beatz disclosed why the song was actually removed.

The award-winning producer revealed that an imposter beat Sarkodie’s team to an early upload on the two music streaming platforms using the viral product prior to the original release.
