On March 22, 2019, award-winning actor, Alex Kofi Adu, popularly known for his screen name Agya Koo was announced as a cast of “Away Bus”, a feature film of Kofi Asamoah’s Kofas Media and Peter Sedufia’s OldFilms after he was off the TV screens for almost six years.
In a quick chat on the ‘Uncut’ show after that emergency press conference organized specially for him, Agya Koo disclosed that he is not currently sure if his comeback was going to be a permanent one which will see him in a lot of movies even though he currently has a lot of scripts from a lot of producers in the industry he is considering.
Asked by Zionfelix what he felt was the reason why most producers were chasing him now after they had sidelined him for about six years, the talented actor stated that he did not really know what has changed.
He, however, stressed that he has the little thought it would probably be because they believe he can play a key role in the revival of the dying movie industry.

The talented Highlife musician also revealed that contrary to the view of people that he was not getting gigs to act when he was off the screens, a lot of producers approached him at the time but later changed their decision to use him because marketers warned that they won’t sell the movies if he (Agya Koo) was a cast.
