Popular sports journalist, Fentuo Tahiru has been announced as the latest member of the Joy Sports team as an Editor.
His announcement follows his resignation from Citi TV/FM on Sunday, August 7, 2022, after working with the company for 5 years.

In a post he shared online to reveal that he was no longer working with Citi FM/TV, he wrote: ‘—PERSONAL NEWS— I’ll like to say thank you to @Citi973/@CitiTVGH for an amazing last 5 years. It’s been a wonderful place to learn and grow and I’m grateful for all the opportunities the platform afforded me. It’s been an honor and a privilege. Thank you so so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾‘
Just about 24 hours after his announcement, The Multimedia Group took to their social media to write: ‘The Fentuo Tahiru! Welcome to the Joyful side of the city, Fentuo Tahiru. #JoySMS’

The 34-year-old started his career in sports broadcasting as an intern at radio stations across Kumasi, while a student at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Upon graduation, he rose to become Sports Editor at one of those stations, Ultimate FM, before moving to Accra to join Citi in 2017.
At Citi FM/TV he worked for five years and in June 2020 he was appointed to head the Citi Sports crew.
