The last 24 hours appear to be a dark moment for the Ghanaian entertainment space as some of the prominent figures in the space got involved in gory accidents.
While Lilwin was reported to have been involved in an accident in Kumasi Amakom ahead of the grand premiere of his latest movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’ at the KNUST CCB Auditorium, musicians KK Fosu and Bless were also involved in a fatal accident on the Accra-Apam Highway on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
According to the driver who was driving KK Fosu and Bless to the wedding that was taking place in the Central Region, all four occupants of the black Toyota Camry they were taking to the program were affected one way or the other.
Even though he, the driver was the least affected passenger, he disclosed that KK Fosu and Bless had their legs broken, while the last passenger, who was the aide of Bless unfortunately died.
Recounting what brought about the accident, Nana Obiri Yeboah, the driver in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz show later hosted by disclosed that a case of wrongful overtaking by a white Benz 350 forced all cars going in the Apam Junction direction to move to the shoulders of the road to allow the passenger vehicle to pass before they return onto the road.
“Like the other cars, we also moved to the shoulder of the road to allow the errant driver to pass, it turned out that he crashed into our car, a situation I became aware of when I regained consciousness,” he told MzGee.

“The three passengers had already been sent to the Apam Hospital when I regained consciousness. I asked and was told where they had been sent. I quickly ensured that our key belongings were secured before heading to the hospital. I can confirm that KK and Bless suffered broken legs, KK’s own was less damaging than Bless’, the other passenger, an aide to Bless, apparently died on the spot,” he added.
Currently, the two musicians and the aide of Bless who passed away are reported to have been brought back to Accra in an ambulance and have been admitted to the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) for further treatment.
