Ghanaian musician, Akwaboah has disclosed how his pastor encouraged him to compose love songs.
Akwaboah said he was shocked when his pastor prophesied to him about his confusion on releasing a gospel or love songs first when he worked on two albums containing gospel and love songs.
The ‘Hye Me Bo’ composer revealed in an interview monitored by zionfelix.net on Hitz FM that, he was always singing at the church and that made him be in a dilemma because he was afraid of the criticisms that would follow after the love song has been released.
The prolific songwriter reminisced the pastor was resolute on he [Akwaboah] will surely composed gospel songs later in his career after he has gained prominence with love songs.
He emphasized that his pastor has never discouraged or condemned his actions for venturing into secular music.
This conversation was on the back of the musician releasing a new gospel song titled ‘Praise Medley’ which featured TY Crew.
